I stayed for 2 nights during the week and the room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Nothing flash but more than adequate with good bathroom, excellent shower and plenty of space. The surrounding area has plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops and Gloucester Rd tube station is only 2 mins walk away. Breakfast was ok, though I did not ask... More

My sisters and I stayed at the hotel recently while vacationing in London. We were debating between The Villa and another hotel in Paddington but were so glad we picked this one. The room was nice, clean and tastefully decorated in neutral shades, the staff was friendly and extremely helpful, the shower worked well – the water pressure was fine... More

Excellent location near to Gloucester Road and within walking distance to the museums and Knightsbridge. I did a lot of research before booking and I couldn't find better value. I was not disappointed. I paid £70 for a single room including breakfast which is very rare in this part of London for free in the room price. The room was... More

The location of this hotel is ideal for Harrods, Natural History Museum and Royal Alber Hall. All are within 20 mins walking distance, The room was small but the bathroom was a good size. Continental breakfast included in the price was a bonus. The only problem we had was our room 92, backs on to the lift so there was... More

Good hotel to stay when you are on a business trip or city trip. Not a luxury hotel but a decent standaard room to stay. Staff are very kind and helpfull. Due to a fully booked hotel I got the smallest room available which was really small. But when you're alone on a business trip, you don't need more space.... More

I was wondering if like me, travelers have stayed here since this hotel change ownership. I stayed here about 12 times since the late '80s (left a review in 2009). I am planning another trip in 2014 and hope this friendly and convenient hotel kept the small hotel charm that Ali and his uncle Rahanni gave to it.

We visited this hotel with a group of students and the hotel could not have done more for us. Some of the 6 rooms we booked were on the small size but adequate for the amount of time we spent in them. Staff were efficient when we checked in and had sorted an early check in for us. All paperwork,... More

This is a good location and a good hotel, about 150 yards from Gloucester Road Tube. The staff on reception were efficient and friendly. The room was on the small side but well equipped modern and clean. Free wifi is always good, but it disconnected a few times. The breakfast was good with an excellent choice on the inclusive price.... More
