I stayed here with my boyfirend in february 07. I didnt have any expectations, and they were certanly met.. haha.. Now I just look back at it and laugh.. We had a room in the 5th, or so, floor. Even the exercise was free:P The hostel feels like being on a really shabby boat, with narrow corridors and uneven floor.... More

After looking for a cheap break to London whilst students, my boyfriend and I decided on this hostel for a one night stay (thank God that was all it was!). We booked a double, 'ensuite' room for just over £50. This hostel couldn't have given a worse first impression, when we walked in there were pot smoking individuals sat around... More

ok, well, the organization at this hostel is total crap. they double book rooms and they told my friend that they couldn't find her booking, and when she finally got her confirmation, they then moved her to another room the 2nd night without telling her, so when she came back to her dorm, she found a group of french girls... It was a bit loud and a bit of a hike from the tube, but all in all, a decent enough place to stay. They breakdown breakfast very early. Better for a group of kids, I wouldn't stay here again, though. More

My boyfriend and I left NZ to live in Ireland...we had a holiday in Thailand first and were going to stay with friends for the night when we reached London but unfortunately it wasn't timed right. So shortly before we left Thailand and were due to arrive in London we frantically searched around websites for a decent but cheap place... More

This hostel is ONE TOTAL SCAM! I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here. One (not one toiletblock consisting of more toilets), just ONE toilet for a whole corridor (which would be about 15 dorms!!!) And 2 showers of which of one had a broken lock, so none would use it anyway. A single room charges 55 euro's, which is a ridiculous... More

This was the first hostel that I stayed at on my European tour... I cried when I arrived. But after a 27 hour flight and never having stayed in a hostel before I decided to: loosen up, give it a go and use the "chin up and bear it" attitude. After having now spent the better part of 2 months... More

Staying at the Astor's Leinster Inn Hostel was my first hostel experience... and what an experience it was! Since this was my first stop on my Euro-Trip, I had a vague idea of hosteling but looking back on the other hostels I stayed at in Europe to this one... let's just say it was not one of my favorites! Lets... More

I am well-traveled and have been a resident or tourist in more countries than I can count. Leinster Inn is without a doubt the loudest guesthouse I have ever stayed in. I lodged there for five days and did not get a decent night's sleep the entire time. I found I had to change my sleep schedule just to get... More

Arrived at this place after finding it fairly easy, which was a blessing really as I didn't want to have to go hunting about for it with a heavy pack. First impressions was a nice friendly atmosphere until I got inside... Upon opening the door, I got the impression that yes, this place can be a nice friendly place at... More
