We just returned from London and our 3 night stay at Kensington House Hotel was great!Yes,we were looking at a huge construction site, but work didn't start before 8 am and was over by the time we returned early evening.Continental breakfast was good and service was good throughout the hotel. It's all about location and that can't be beat!Free museums are a... I stayed 3 nights in room 308, a single with its own balcony looking out over Cambridge Place at the rear of the hotel. That this is the wettest spring in living memory, so I could only sit out on it 1 night out of 3 isn't the hotel's fault! The room is definitely 'bijou' but had a single bed;... More

What a disaster. A construction site right across the road, noise from dawn till way past dusk. Room faced into the sun, window blind inadequate for shade. Room became unbearably hot, no air conditioning. Couldn't open window due to noise from building site. Light over shower broken, advised reception, still broken at end of stay. Used elevator first day, but... More

Just returned from a great stay in Kensington House Hotel! We LOVED the property and location...as it was literally minutes away from the Kensington Palace, Hyde Park, 2 tube stations, nice restaurants, the Natural History Museum.... and the list goes on and on. We felt very safe walking even in the evening. Yes, construction is across the street, but all... More

Stayed in room 209! Very small, no curtains, blinds wouldn't close, bathroom like a broom cupboard! Breakfast is free as no one in their right mind would pay for it! Better value and quality elsewhere! More

Nice modern conversion of a traditional Kensington terrace. Located just off Ken High Street opposite the park. Shops and restaurants are a couple of minutes walk. High st Kensington tube is about a 10 minute walk. In the other direction the Albert Hall was a 10 minute walk and Harrods about 30 mins. If going to Harrods meander through the... More

After many years and hotels in London, including 5 stars there is a small charming hotel that will suit everyone, at a great price. Located off Kensington High street . Other reviews have complained about the construction noise but dont be afraid, it minimum and only during the day when your out. We noticed nothing even walking by site. The... More

We stayed for three nights in January as part of a business trip with three colleagues. We had chosen this hotel because, having stayed before, we knew it was comfortable and the breakfasts were good. Indeed, the rooms are small but they are fully functional and clean. More importantly the beds are comfortable. Initially we had been put into the... More

My husband and I stayed at Kensington house hotel in mid January in order to go to the Royal Albert Hall to watch the Cirque de Soleil. This hotel is in such a good location for the RAH and for the museums, shops and restaurants. It is well served by the underground and local buses to take you all over London.... More

This was my third stay at the K-House and I just think it is a great, little hotel. I was traveling with my husband and our daughter/son-in-law and we booked 2 standard rooms. The rooms are small, but are clean and have comfy beds and decent bathrooms. The breakfast is great and the fact that it is included helps contribute... More
