Maybe it was the room upgrade I received, but the quality of this hotel is the best I've found in London for the money! The staff is courteous and attentive. The room is clean, comfortable and quiet. There's a nice bar and restaurant in the hotel. The Executive Lounge (Concierge Lounge) serves a great breakfast with a choice of coffees,... More

The hotel is in a good location to access the Picadilly tube line. It is between Gloucester and Earl's Court. Earl's Court has lots of fast food and ethnic eateries. We enjoyed a good meal and free wifi at a Pub there. The hotel is very clean and has a very upscale lobby and bar/restaurant. The standard rooms are well... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights last week, as a base to do some of the touristy things in London. The hotel was easy to get to using the underground, nice quiet walk up a side street from Earl's Court satation. We enjoyed our stay here, although we didn't spend much time at the hotel itself; too many... More

Have stayed here for three nights in the run up to Christmas for each of the past two years. First year had a room overlooking the atrium. Wouldn't recommend that as the window is small with limited natural light and no fresh air. Second time got an offer of three nights for the price of two and the hotel gave... More

I have to say that my week-long stay at this particular Marriott was very disappointing. Apparently in a rush to get the hotel refurbished in time for the Olympics, my family and I suffered a poor experience. We were awakened every morning, Monday through Wednesday with the type of noise one would expect with 25 men building a new home.... More

Needed to get to "the Bank" area in the city, front desk told me I would never get a black cab in the morning, it was too busy, this turned out to be a lie, as the main road outside has a constant stream going past on the other side of road, and that they were expensive. He said it... More

Stayed there last year 11/11/2011. Had to change rooms twice but three rooms. First was a really niosy room at the rear because if a heating appliance? or something outside the window. Complained and was moved to a room on the front but the window did not open so we had to move again, I like fresh air, if that... More

I've stayed at the Kensington Marriott three times now and can say that overall the hotel offers an average experience for the hotel visitor. I am a gold level rewards member and so I often receive fairly good treatment at the Marriott chain. Let me say first, that the beds are wonderfully comfortable and the hotel is located just 5... My family and I have stopped in many Marriott hotels before and have always found them above average or of excellent service. Not so for the Kensington Marriott. I booked two rooms for my family and I back in October 2011 for Fri 20th April-Sun 22nd April 2012 part paying with Tesco reward vouchers. My mother and father were in... More

Stayed here on business last weekend. Arrival and check-in very nice, beautiful room with all the amenities you'd need. restaurant was quite slow with the food but the portion sizes were very surprising for a hotel of this standard and the quality was very good too. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice too. Overall experience of this hotel was... More
