I would rate this as a 3 or a 4. I was staying over night for work. Location about 7 minute walk from Southwark tube. Outside was a little tired looking but inside was OK. Check in was a bit slow because my surname had been spelt wrong but my room was surprisingly nice

Had an over night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Room was big, lots of space. Nice big comfy bed. Bathroom was nice and clean, the shower wasn't very powerful but done the job. Best part about this hotel was leaving. The room was so small and the shabby chairs and fixtures were well past their best. Paint was flaking off the ceiling, The a/c did not work and the room was so unbearably hot that we didnt get any sleep. The bathroom was poor and the bathroom flooded everytime the shower was used....
