We've stayed here a few times and always found it a good spot in London. It's not like a lot of "Holiday Inns" which don't have air conditioning or enough room to turn around in. More like a Holiday Inn in the U.S. More

This hotel struggles to be a 4* hotel. Room was very average with no safe, no clock-radio, a just-functioning fridge, old cotton-balls and tissues in the hand towels and a ridiculous price for wifi. The sliding bathroom door was all but immoveable. Lift service very slow. Location is very good. Reception staff were very helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. More

The location of this hotel was great...a short walk to the Gloucester Road tube station. There are plenty of shops and resturants around the area. The rooms were clean and had U.S. plugs. The only negative is the WiFi fee was Outragous! I refused to pay for something that should be offered for free to their guests. Really?!? Holiday Inn... More

Definitely a 'proper' hotel up to American/Canadian standards. Good location, easy transit point to most of London with subway. Nice room and bathroom. Good service. Negative: expensive, even on priceline it was $202 and that's already discounted. Wi-fi internet was very expensive, I think nearly $20 a day which is unheard of. If I could get a room a bit... More

I love this hotel cause of the location.......I've stayed here many times. But it is the first time reviewing this location. The English breakfast was fine and linens were cleaned everyday. A bit overpriced but I'm sure it's cause of the location smack dab in Kensington right off the Picadilly line. I came right from the airport straight on the... More

Huge hotel, friendly staff, rooms ok a bit small, views really are very good the higher you go, but had everything in it you could need. Didnt realise there was a "pub" style bar in the hotel until leaving which we would have used if known. Grounds of hotel very well kept and a nice place to relax in with... More

Very handy place to stay with close access to the Tube at Glouster Road and a nice walk to the Park and Kensington Palace. They also had a wonderful full breakfast. The room was very clean and everyone was helpful. No, the room and bathroom are not big but fine, remember your in England. More

It's just too big. Fortunately my room was on the 5th floor so I always used the stairs rather than wait 5 minutes for a lifts. And get down to breakfast at the wrong time and you will have to wait 10 minutes for a table - but they provide pastries and newspapers while you stand in line! I thought... More

We stayed on the HI Kensington Forum for a week. All in all a very good hotel. It's not trendy or luxurious, but you get great service, a very good breakfast and a nice room (ours was a "triple room"). Location: The hotel is located about 1 minute walk from Gloucester Road Tube station, from which you can take the... More

Really a very nice hotel at a reasonable price for London, and great location. Mostly done up in a modern, IKEA sort of way but don't let that throw you. Rooms are very comfortable, a bit small but not bad for a mid-city. Don't be embarrassed to learn that you have to put your rooom key in the slot to... More
