As with all reviews the rating depends on each person's circumstances. If a couple of things did not happen during our visit, and it is purely a matter of chance that they did, then I would have given this hotel a 5 star rating. The two things that happened and the reason for the downgrade in rating is noise and... More

My wife and I came to London for a week in January. We had limitted expectations just wanted a quite nice place. The staff was most accomodating and helpful. When we missed breakfast we were offered food, when we needed extra blanket it came immidiately, and no query was trublesome. The room was large enough (in London terms), the room... More

I can't find one thing to complain about Abbey Court. The room was Excellent. Large and spacious, very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was truly amazing and delightful. I wish I could have stayed longer. Perfect location. A++++ More

We stayed for four nights. Room and bathroom were smallish, but with all the amenities we care about (good bed, plush robes, plenty of mineral water, good toiletries, hanging space and shelves, in room safe, racks to open our suitcases on...). Bed was queen size, not king size. Room was in the back, opening to a quiet block. Clean, but... More

Kind of like your favorite aunt's Victorian home--a bit rundown, but in an ok way. It took us a while to get used to the old fashioned room key! The room size and comfort, and the friendliness of the staff made up for any complaints we have. Breakfast was included in our rate, and it was very good. It is... More

I am here now for a total of 6 nights and have heard so many different rates quoted for the rooms that it's a bit like roulette. The location is great but the 10+ pounds per day for wi-fi and the lack of air conditioning and the terrible cable TV (no CNN, no anything really) and the worn out carpets... More

Stayed here last minute, I was only in London overnight & found the Abbey Court online on my blackberry, found out it was in Nottinghill & figured why not...well the only room they had was a double & let me tell you if I had been a couple I probably never would have left the room! it was so beautiful... The Abbey Court's most redeeming factor has to be its physical location which is excellent - within 2 minutes walk of Notting Hill Gate Underground. Otherwise, I'm afraid it's all downhill. The hotel is small and so are its rooms (my bedroom was one of the smallest I have ever stayed in). The bathroom is really tiny and the shower... More

Wow ! what a pleasant surprise, this hotel is what we call posh in Australia, the upmarket area of Kensington is beautiful, only a minute from the underground which is the easy way to travel all over London and very cheap, the huge Portabella markets are in the next street The hotel is 5 star and you couldn't find better for the reasonable... We were very disappoined staying at the Abbey Court in London with the exception of the front desk help and the location of the hotel to the tube. The room was was cleaned every day, but the room itself was not taken care of. The wallpaper was old and spliting at the seams. The canopy over the bed and the... More
