We really enjoyed our short stay at Metropolitan. If you are a runner - it is great as Hyde park is just across the road. NObu restaurant is also a highlight. We had some seriously delicious food there. The room was nice, spacious with fast wi- fi. The stuff really friendly. I'd definitely recommend it

Booked last minute and stayed on a Friday night. Delightful greeting from enthusiastic staff. Room was spacious and well equipped with partial Hyde Park view. Concierge was able to get us a table at Nobu though it was very busy. Met Bar staff courteous and friendly though was disappointed that the bar wasn't a little busier. Would recommend.
