Best in class! This hotel brought the heritage of British Service into the present. Very relevant. The staff was beyond attentive, but not fussy. Friendly, but not too familiar. I stayed in both the new part of the hotel as well as in the original structure. Very different experiences, and enjoyed both equally. The Bar at the Connaught was a... More

I visited the Connaught Bar for drinks on a Friday evening and having heard so much about the grand hotel and its bar was not disappointed. The service was outstanding, with a member of staff immediately taking the coats of our group on entry and ushering us to the well adorned bar while we waited for a table to clear.... More

I was taken to the Connaught by my husband and two daughters for my 50th birthday treat, I cannot recognise any of the criticism regarding the afternoon tea on here as our experience was sensational and I was made to feel extremely important as were my husband and daughters, the flavours of the cakes were amazing, we cut everything in... I have just returned from a short, but extremely nice stay at the Connaught in London. I visited London for business and my employer had taken care of my hotel reservation. I knew nothing about the Connaught when I arrived. There are many sort of hotels. You have the big holiday beach resorts, the remote luxury retreats and so on.... More

As luxurious and well throught through as you would expect, but the shower door leaks. For a price nudging £500 per night, you could do without puddles in the bathroom. More

This is my third stay at The Connaught Hotel in the last three years, and each time continues to impress. I can be a very picky, detail oriented, demanding woman. Not an easy guest, to say the least. However, The Connaught's wonderful team - from Clement Fabiana Reception Suprvisor at the front desk, to the concierges Andrew and Corrado, to... More

The location is perfect, right by Mount Street, definitely one of the most charming streets in London. Close to Bond Street if you want to go shopping, or alternatively, not far from Oxford street (more to the North). I recommend this hotel and strongly advise you to try the cocktails at the bar... Great meeting place. Business friendly, but also... More

My husband and I stayed at the Connaught in March 2012. The room was gorgeous, the bar was fun and the restaurant was out of this world! The location was spot on, being a short and easy walk to all the shopping you could want. We ate at Helene Darroze on one of our nights at the hotel and both... More

This review is based on afternoon tea only. I was taken for afternoon tea here this week. It was a beautiful surrounding and lovely service however the food was lack lustre. Sandwiches average and extremely small. Scones nice but a mean portion of their celebrated jam. The cakes were not to my liking and very sickly and quite frankly not... More
