We had room 25 situated at the back of the hotel, good sized room and away from the main road, very quiet. The hotel was good value for money and in a location close to the Under/Overground stations. Also not too far away is a great little Bistro "The Elgin", and Little Venice is within walking distance.

Ideal place for a short stay. Stayed overnight. Good value for London with the added bonus of car parking. The apartment had a large bedroom with a small kitchenette and a reasonable toilet and shower room. The decor was simple but impressive. The hotel is within easy walking distance to Maida Vale shops and St Johns Wood. They no longer supply breakfast but... Me and my partner were staying here for 3 nights on a trip to London, and managed to get a good deal on laterooms.com, which was the main reason for choosing this particular hotel. The room was a decent size, with enough space in the kitchenette and bathroom too. Lots of storage, wardrobe and drawers if you were staying longer... More

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and and would highly recommend the hotel now it has been refurbished. The fininshing of the decoration in places could be improved but this does not detract from the quality of the furniture and appliances. The staff were very helpful throughout and the free parking was a bonus. I will definately use... More

Nice big double room, very close to the tube. Not the best breakfast in the world but ok for the money. If I paid full price for the room then might not have been so happy. The water pressure in the shower was good. Would go back if I was in the area.

I stayed at this hotel in January this year and it wasn't the best place to stay but I was re booked in by my work place as we had a meeting near by. To be honest I pleasantly surprised, upon arrival you could see the changes from the entrance. I was given the room 23 which is at the... More

We stayed at the Carlton in Maida Vale for one night during the Olympics. Free parking was a bonus and the staff were friendly and helpful, but that's where the positives finish. The room was OK, but very basic. No bedside lamps, there was a phone, but it was not functional, so when we needed to phone reception to ask... More

Wouldnt stay here again but had no choice to to lack of availability for hotels during the London 2012 Olympics. Bad points: Sofa bed for kids really uncomfortable and springy! Shower way too small, noisy reception as apartment next to them on the ground floor. NOT a hotel at all just rented apartments as there is no room service, no... More

This is a relatively small hotel, in a residential area. We chose it partly because it has secure parking at the rear of the building. We had a suite at the back, with a view of trees, and were never conscious of the busy Maida Vale road. Because we had a kitchen, there was no need to pay for breakfast.... More
