We stayed at this Travelodge in a family room over the Easter period. On arrival we experienced some difficulty getting a receptionist to attend the desk, but he did arrive and apologise for his absence. The room was adequate, although we had to ask for bedding for the sofa bed, and extra pillows! Bed not very comfortable. The hotel has... More

I stayed at Travelodge London Barking for one night whilst attending a trade expo in Greenwich. The hotel is situated at the end of the Hammersmith & City Line and is a two minute walk from the station. Great town centre location, directly above a Tesco Express and close to pubs and restaurants. I paid £19 for the room online.... More

Visited my daughter in London in early February and decided to stay at Travelodge Barking which was on offer at a very good rate. The hotel is at the terminus of the tube line,Hammersmith and City and also on the District line so Transport links are very good. It is in a very good position some 5 mins from the... More

I stayed here on a Saturday night and I paid a very cheap price for a hotel room which is within 30 mins train from central London. Barking train station is a mere 5-10 mins walk so don't believe that review where it took them 2 hours to find the hotel. That is simply nonsense. Barking station offers trains which... More

I have stayed in a number of Travelodge's and this is probably the nicest one by far. We had a corner room, so it was so spacious. Biggest room I have also stayed in and that including when I have stayed in a family room! The room was very clean and I have no problems at all! The hotel is... More

Close to Barking underground and railway, but quite difficult to find as it is set back from the road, behind a Tesco Express, the entrance is in a secluded corner. Not nice to try and find at night with gangs of kids in the communal courtyard area. The hotel is a typical Travelodge, very basic and sparse, so don't expect... More

I nearly abandoned my reservation here having read so many dreadful reviews, but I would have wasted the £10 I got the room for when I booked it three months ago in the Travelodge 'sale' so decided to come anyway. In fact it turned out to be no worse than the other London area Travelodges I have stayed in. At... More

Booked a family room. The beds were really uncomfortable, rooms are extremely basic and expensive for what you actually get, which isnt much! Sofa beds are grubby and you have to put the sheets on yourself, not enough linen and towels to accomodate a family. More

No phones in rooms, no breakfast area, no minibar or safes, no free wifi, no AC - they don't even offer shampoo or bodywash. This is more like a hostel with private rooms than a hotel. On the plus side it is reasonably clean and a 3 minute walk from a tube station although it's a 40 minute ride to... More
