Taking up my pen to review this frightful place, it is difficult to know where to begin. I decided to stay here for a two-week internship in central London, and was drawn by its affordability and relatively central location. Everything else about it turned out to be vile. The deco has clearly not been updated since the 1960s, with the... More

I had the advantage of getting a top bunk, making getting into and out of bed much easier. Those who weren't so lucky couldn't even sit up straight in their beds. Though there are reading lights and outlets on each bed, some of the outlets don't work and my light flickered when I tried to read. (Also, the panel containing... More

Letter which was sent to Journeys and never addressed: We are writing to inform you of our extreme dissatisfaction with our recent encounter with your hostel. On March 23, we booked two beds for one night in the Journeys London Bridge Hostel. Upon arriving, we were told that the room had been overbooked and we would be sent to a... More

'definately a lot cleaner'?? 'way better then last time?' 'high levels of cleanliness?' you have to be kidding me. you can smell the mould as you stick your way up the carpeted stairs, you can see it in the bathrooms. no toilet paper available, the beds were still unmade at 3pm when people were checking in, had to ask 2... My girlfriend and I stayed at JLBH after 3 terrible nights at another hostel. We stayed for two nights in a 9 bedroom dorm. There were people from all over the world staying there for different reasons (holiday, work, seeing friends, relocating, etc.) The owner Brad was very accommodating and the rooms were such a great price per night! The... More

I recently stayed at Journeys London Bridge hostel and having previously stayed at JLBH only a few months back it would seem things are starting to improve. The new manager Brad displayed great customer service skills and he also seems to have hit the ground running as the place was definitely a lot cleaner! with a toilet cleaning schedule up... More

The staff members were kinda creepy and made awkward comments to me and my friend about each other. But the location was alright, the accomadations were fine, though showers were small and awkwardly set up. But the beds all had curtains, a light and seperate plug for each which was wonderful.

This is by far one of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in. The room I was in had 3 sets of bunks stacked 3 high and was SO small. There was barely enough room to fit everyones bag on the floor. To make things worse, each morning the cleaning woman would come in around 8am, turn all the... More

3 of us booked in to a triple room for a long weekend in London. When we arrived we found the room was so small could we stand and touch the side of the bed and wall at the same time. There was no space for our bags and many people in other dorms lined their bags up in the... More

I consider this the worst hostel I have ever stayed in, however, I can identify some good points, and I know that some people will like it here! I stayed for 3 nights and the whole time the place was almost entirely full of young people that are just there to party. So if this is you.... when I would... More
