I stayed here during the Olympics and was surpised by the great rates. I cannot say enough about the friendly staff member that was on duty during my stay. Muhammed really went the extra mile for me and could not have done more to help me on my way. His advice, kindness and generosity made my visit to London so... More

Nice location in Camden, within walking distance of Regent's Par and with good transport connections to the centre. My room was facing the street and was rather noisy, so if you're a light sleeper ask for one overlooking the garden. The room itself was small and not exactly clean, the same can be said about the shared bathroom. Access to... More

This was my first sojourn at this women only hostel. I arrived not really expecting top notch accommodation due to its hostel status, but I have to say certain aspects of my stay pleasantly surprised me. These were, comfortable bed, decent, clean room and helpful staff. The main problem was with the shower, it was far too clumsy and cramped... More

A women's only establishment without any towels ?!!! .. I was astounded - did not know this kind of establishment is still around . The House appears clean on the surface ; but my keen sense of smell; : detected the need for some ultra deep cleansing throughout the building . And break out the few cans of paint to... More

This was my second stay at Goldsmiths. In 2010 I stayed a few days, this time I stayed 5 weeks: the maximum for someone over the age of 35. The place is unbeatable for price, warmth, location and cleanliness. It is rather institutional and bureacratic though, so you just have to grin and bear some things about the place. For... More

This hostel is great for those on a budget and not looking for any creature comforts. The kitchen facilities are extensive and a great asset, and the location is fairly easy to access using public transport without the noise and bustle of being on a main thoroughfare. Euston station, the British Library, and Regent's Park are all within walking distance.... More

The hostel is a women's one and located conveniently about 5 minutes walk from Mornington Crescent. You get your own allocated space in the kitchen fridges and a cupboard with cooking utensils so if you're staying in London for a few days, you can keep costs down. The rooms are basic, sometimes quite shabby, but clean and ok. It's a... More

What a fantastic find! I only wish I'd found it in January instead of spending 5 months staying in second class, grubby West end guest houses!!! For £25 a night, you get a bright, clean room with sink, wardrobe, desk and bed and a really fast internet connection which allowed me to watch eastenders!! The showers are clean and very... More

Depending what you're after, this seems like a real hidden gem. For only a couple of pounds more than a YHA dorm bed, you get your own little room in a clean, quiet, pleasant location. It's such good value I feel guilty for being a woman (it's women only). It's not very central and it's a bit of a walk... More
