We spent a few days in this nice Bed and Breakfast clean and cosy. Quite rooms, confortable beds. Su and Martin are wery kind persons and give you precious advises: good restaurant, nearest subway or bus station... Breakfast with home made bread and marmelade and delicious cappuccino. We will come back with the rest of the family.

My husband and I spent 3 days at Melrose Gardens B&B in Hammersmith, London. It was perfect in every way. The room was clean and comfortable, great shower, and very quiet. Su and Martin were the best hosts, and they treated us like family. They gave us great advice on London, and Martin made us tasty breakfasts every morning, including... More

I came for the second time this year with my daughter and it was really like visiting Family. Su and Martin are so warm and friendly I just did not miss anything. The rooms are cosy and with a very personal touch. Martin makes fresh bread every day and do not miss his home made Marmelade. Hammersmith is a very... More

I stayed here (with a friend) for 4 days while visiting London. Not only did I feel comfortable and welcomed, but I received excellent advice about travel around London (eg. the Oyster card) that made it easy to use the London transportation system. Location on a quiet street that was close to transportation, stores, and restaurants was an added plus.... More

Su and Martin couldnt have made us feel anymore welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are lovely, clean and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom super clean and shower excellent. I have never wrote a review before on anything but what a lovely time we had, felt I should. We stayed for NYE for a few days,... More

I already saw the last comment of this lovely Bed and Breakfast and I completely disagree with the opinion that the family who stay there this December gave. As far as I know, and I stayed in some others English B&B, if you want to have eggs and bacon for breakfast you should have informed the landlady or landlord the... More

I must say we was very disappointed, and I don't understand why this is under "Britain's finest" ! This is just a normal B&B. We was looking forward to some fantastic days, with this "fantastic Breakfast" with the smell of home made bread in the morning, eggs & bacon ect. ect., Yes the bread was there, but made on a... I stayed at Su and Martin´s home for 10 days this november 2012. I really enjoyed the house and my bedroom. Its situation was perfect to move around all London, and there are also lots of restaurants nearby where you can have your meals. It was like stay at home. What I most liked what the brakfast, the bread that... More

My wife and I stayed at Melrose Gardens for 6 days last week and had a super time. Can't add much more to what has already been written, but I will say that from a pure convenience perspective, this is the place to say in London. It is so easy to access from Heathrow - simply hop on the Picadilly... More

We stayed at Su and Martin's for a 5 day trip to London. As said by other members, the location is very convenient, with an easy access to the underground and a lively district with a wide range of restaurants just a few steps away. It's a good way to discover another face of London, out of the tourist track.... More
