Nice Decor and room, however the breakfast buffet was a disappointment. Corner shop croissants. Old fruit. Soft hash browns and yucky scrambled eggs. felt like a high school canteen buffet. We were disappointed, because we stayed here as the price seemed reasonable with breakfast included, however if I was to visit again. I would eat breakfast out.

What a lovely little gem this place is! A short walk from Balham tube station takes you there....a beautifully converted period property with fabulous attention to detail, clean comfortable rooms and included in the price is a tasty hot or cold filling breakfast to set you up for the day ahead. Perfect place to stay for a night out at... More

I booked this hotel after reading reviews on trip advisor and I have to say the reviews were spot-on!! I was looking for somewhere to stay in south London for a couple of days so that we could visit my husbands family who all live in or around the Balham area, and our previous experience of London hotels has been very... Stayed here for 2 nights with my daughter. The beds were comfortable, the room clean and as we were at the back of the property it was also quiet. Friendly service and a good breakfast. Excellent value for money in London with Free WiFi and parking thrown in too. Would stay here again if in the area.

Despite an initial run in with a cleaner who bashed our car with a bin store gate (and didn't apologise), we found this to be a very pleasant guest house. Having a car park at all was great in London, although I understand the on street parking is at a reasonable rate. The receptionist was excellent and had moved us... More

Fabulous value, wonderful service, great rooms. The only reason we didn't score the room 5, was the bed frame was a bit damaged. This didn't affect our comfort but if it were mended it would be a 5 star. Breakfast was excellent. Full English buffet style. I would have liked fruit salad but the cooked breakfast was really good. You WILL NOT find anywhere else within 20 mins of the City at this price, nevermind the quality. I'll be coming back time and time again. Staff are eccentric, and absolutely brilliant. I'm fussy, but can't really mark it under 5 in any category - 6 for value for money.

We stayed for two nights at this B&B earlier this month and were pleasantly surprised. A beautiful house with obvious attention to detail with a stained glass front door and a warm welcome on arrival. The room we stayed in was at the front of the house so the road noise was noticeable but not too much of a drama... More

This is one of the most beautiful guest houses we have stayed in - it was built in 1889, in the Queen Anne style, as part of the Heaver Estate. It has been carefully and sympathetically restored and converted. It is also by far the best value accommodation we have found in the London area. We paid £80 per night... More
