Excellent service from staff, very helpful, friendly, upgrade to penthouse view was amazing, it had snowed, close to shops, and restaurants & cafe at the dock. Very clean apartment, spacious, facilities very good

“penthouse stay but not quite the 5 star it advertised”

stayed in the penthouse here and was really nice. 2 floors (bottom floor was waste of space) but top floor was lovely, 2 bedrooms one en suite, one bathroom, kitchenette, dining area over looking docks and relaxing tv lounge. the view from here was truely lovely during the day or at night. place was clean though no working smoke alarm.... More

“Does not match photos on base website.. But a lovely stay”

We stayed midweek for one night at royal quay. You have to collect the key from duke st rather than royal quay. We struggled to find the apartments as it is not the building shown on the website. From the outside the apartments are very poor and quite run down. The gate to he building was open when we arrived... More

Do not be fooled by the photos in any of the Base serviced apartments, tried 2 as the first one was so awful we had to be moved, the second was MARGINALLY better. Am considering Trading Standards it was so bad! If you are a group of same sex revellers who are in town to party you might not notice... More
