As Travelodges go this wasn't the worst, but as with all TLs it needs some work doing. It's next to a Toby Carvery / pub which is attended by some rather noisy and boisterous locals. Well, all the other reviews pick up the issues we also noticed, frayed carpets, tired decor and a genuine budget feel to the whole place. This hotel is adequate but its old and tired and needs a re vamp. There is now a building site next door which put me off staying for a while. Staff are nice and helpful. Breakfast is basic but is complimentary. More
