We booked this B&B (to visit family in nearby Coningsby) via booking.com. That site informed us "last room available", which prompted us to perhaps rush into booking it. It seems instead that we were the only guests that night. Unable to check-in until 4pm, we arrived just after that to a somewhat mediocre welcome from the landlord who told us... More

Although on arrival we received a quite tepid welcome from the landlord, subsequent service in the bar and at breakfast was very good. This hotel was advertised as being in Coningsby, 5.3 miles from Woodhall Spa which was where we wanted to be. It was in fact in Chapel Hill,5 miles from Coningsby and 8 miles from Woodhall Spa.
