I have been to Jollies now for the past couple of years and have to say that some of the comments are harsh. Yes, the room I had came with powdered milk for making tea, a warm shower rather than a hot one and a toilet seat that wasn't fixed on properly. However, the hotel is in an excellent location... simple atrocious room (sorry shed) was so small & filthy the mice backed out & wiped their feet . the food (sorry again) pig swill was so bad the sick on the pavement outside seemed a better choice. when you walked upstairs to your shed your hands stuck to the bannister, you had to leave the door open to have... If like us you are wanting a cosy romantic weekend away then this is definitely not the place to stay, in fact to be honest this wouldnt be the place to stay under any circumstances! Unless you are wanting, filthy small rooms, uncomfortable beds and the smallest bathroom where theres not enough room to brush your teeth in never mind... More

I expected a small room but!!! The tea/coffee/dried milk in room must have been the cheapest they could find, I judge a hotel by this although I bring my own just in case it's bad. Breakfast was one of the worst I've had in Blackpool, there was no fruit juice, limited choice of cereal (pre-ordered the day before) cheap bacon... More

We arrived on a Friday lunchtime. We were greeted in a fashion, by a couple claiming to be the owners!!! You have to pre-order all food by filling out a pathetic form for breakfast and evening meals. Our room No 4 was very small and filthy dirty, there was black mould on the window sill, previous guests stale chips on... More

We stayed at jollies for 1 night found the place dated and old inside needs gutting and redesigning. Room exceptionally small very old shower and appliances very hard bed not much sleep. Cant understand why the owner made us park our car several streets away when there were spaces outside hotel. One good point breakfast ok More

There was mould in the shower tray and both the sink and toilet could have done with a good clean. There was also mould around the windows and the room was damp. The coffee maker was filthy. Very disappointed as booked for our wedding anniversary and expected at the very least a decent standard of hygiene. More

We have just stayed with Lynn & Bill at the Jollies Hotel. We've stayed in Blackpool before and been presented with some grim conditions and some excellent conditions and I would say that this hotel was a mixture of both!! We arrived there on the day to find a very personal and warm welcome. Bill was friendly and advised us... More

The room was not big enough to be classed as double, having only 9 inches access down on side of the bed and 18 inches down the other. The tea/coffee making machine was absolutely filthy. The shower tray was dirty and there was mould on the wall. The extractor fan did not work. The T.V. remote control did not work.... More
