Chose the Bracondale because the hotel I usually stay at in Blackpool had closed, and this was just around the corner. I stayed for four nights over the bank holiday weekend and can honestly say I've never, ever been made to feel more welcome anywhere. From the first complimentary cuppa to the last delicious breakfast, nothing was too much trouble... More

Located a short walk from Blackpool North train station and coach inter-change (with a tram-stop nearby) The Bracondale is an outstanding option for a single traveller. The owners Neil (the pilot of a pleasure cruiser) and Keith (a semi-professional card-player) are both friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable hosts who excel at making their guests feel comfortable and relaxed. On arrival I... More

Had a very relaxing stop-over at this guest house after a hectic few days further south where we celebrated our silver wedding anniversary. The room was lovely and bright and had a good view over the sand and sea beyond. We had breakfast the next morning which was delicious and the owners could not be faulted regarding their local knowledge... More

We booked last minute for 3 nights over the bank holiday, the main reason was becuase we couldn't finish work early and Neil kindly said over teh phone when enquiring he would stay up till we arrived, we got to Blackpool at around 11.15pm, straight away on arrival Neil and Keith greeted us and pointed out a parking spot they... We've had lovely stays in this b&b, which is near a tram stop, walkable distance from the train station and a sub £5 fare from the station if you've mobility issues (or lots of luggage after a big shop at Blackpool's branch of TKMax - extra good at Xmas). We've also been offered a lift to the station. Free drink... More

With such a churn of guests, all too often hosts treat you as a commodity. Neil & Keith are a world away from this. As soon as we met them they treated us like we were old friends. Complimentary drink on arrival and bags carried up to our room etc. Before we even went to the room we sat and... More

We have just returned from a weekend break staying at the Bracondale. Keith and Neil make you feel so welcome from the moment you step through the door, the complimentry drink on arrival is such a nice welcoming idea you are made to feel like part of their family as they sit and chat to you in an evening while...
