I stayed at the Belgrave Madison in Blackpool over Christmas and although the Hotel looked very tired and badly in need of some improvements.the Manager Vivienne and the staff. certainly made up for it with their friendliness and the warm welcome we were given. We were a full bus load of strangers in the beginning, but the lovely atmosphere soon caught... Some people expect something for nothing nowadays which has compelled me to write a review. I stopped there recently for a retro show being run at the Norbreck Castle 500 yards down the road. The Norbreck was something ridiculous like 5x the amount (and it is not worth it, believe you me!). The Belgrave although needing some modernization was clean,... More

Despite booking months before, we were given an awful room that was both tiny and dirty. There was so much scum around the shower door it couldn't have been cleaned in weeks. the room was filthy and we took the bedspread off before we could sleep on the bed which was impossible as the mattress was so thin you went... After reading previous reviews can t say we were looking forward to our stay, but we need not of worried. Stopped in room 6 over looking the sea, yes the room was dated, but the bedding and towels were absolutely spotless, bathroom was clean but basic, what more is needed, other people had slated this hotel you should be ashamed... I stayed at the Belgrave Madison from the 17th to the 21st October 2011 with my Mum. As with other recent reviewers we travelled with David Urquhart. Along with other people on the coach we had read the reviews online prior to travelling and were really not looking forward to our stay as previous comments implied that the accommodation and... Just returned from our holiday in Blackpool and our stay at the Belgrave Madison Hotel. I took my husband Dave and my good friend Rita. We found that the hotel was situated exactly where we wanted it to be. As we are getting a bit older, we found that the parking facilities were good and the lift was ideal. We... More

The hotel is nice but could do with a spruce up in places, The owner and staff were really pleasant and efficient in their duties, The room, towels and bed linen were clean.... More

The whole hotel was a dump! I am shocked that this hotel is allowed to still be open. Food and rooms were disgusting. The whole place needs knocked down! As for the people who own it, they are just as much of a disgrace. Vivien did not bother about complaints she was in denial about the whole thing. Sooner or... More
