We stayed 24th-25th August '12, had a briliant time! Just a short walk away from the shops turning left or right onto Lake Road. Jackie is lovely and couldn't have made us anymore welcome!!! Would visit again if we visit the lakes in the future :) Iain and Rachel, Manchester.

Just spent the weekend at the Ravenscroft & its was amazing. The service from Jackie was amazing, the rooms were so nice, tidy & well looked after. The breakfast was amazing. We cant wait to come back & stay there again. Its the best B&B i have stayed at. AMAZING.

I have NEVER returned to the same destination in all my years travelling but well this is the exception. My second visit in less than a year (see my September 2011 review). Everything just as expected....5* plus - a marvellous B & B. Enjoy........and thanks Jackie for your hospitality. We will be back in 2013.

We stayed at Ravenscroft after reading the other reviews and it certainly lived up to its reputation. Jackie and Steve are lovely, friendly people who make you feel very welcome. We stayed in the superior room, with the seating area and it was fantastic. Jackie's breakfasts are superb with an excellent choice and plentiful, we didn't need much for lunch!... More

The bnb is really nice and clean! On arrival we was offered a brew and shown to our room! Jackie was really friendly and helpfull! We stayed in the superior room which was fab! The bed is the most comfy bed i have ever slept on it was a struggle to get up for breakfast we just wanted to stay... More

Just to confirm what all the other reviews say: great hosts; great place; great location ; great breaky; comfy bed and a fantastic hot high power shower - both perfect after the 6 hour hike! Many thanks and we will be reccomending to friends.
