Wow what a beautiful hotel! We travelled with a tour group and arriving on the coach i was a little worried as to where we were heading (this is off the beaten track) but so worth it! our room was a corner room at the back of the hotel with a beautiful view of the running creek and farmland. We... More

I came with a family member on an organised coach trip for 4 nights. I shared a twin room which had very comfortable beds and flat screen tv in our room. I thought it was nicely decored although the bathroom was a bit on the small side, the shower was over the bath which was fine for me but for... More

Their website clearly states Pet Friendly. It's not. You can get a room in another building across the car park that is actually the disabled room. It stinks badly of dogs. They'll charge you another tenner to use it too. Not that you'll have a choice other than sleeping in your car if you show up with a dog. Typically... More

Stayed here for one night on an organized coach trip. This hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, which why it's so peaceful! Our twin room overlooked the car park, but I'm sure there are better views from elsewhere! The room was rather old fashioned in decor, but did have a flat screen tv. Bathroom was very small, with... The hotel was perfectly acceptable, we had no complaints except the rest of the visitors were a little on the elderly side for us. More

My husband and myself had the fortunate luck to visit this lovely hotel for 5 days , hidden away in the middle of no where.! The accomodation was Clean, and very spacious, with added luxuries. The food at breakfast and teatime was second to none! The many choices we had was quite exhausting. Compliments to the chefs for their tasty... More

This Hotel is very nice and comfortable, great food and attentive staff. Out of the way and quiet with lovely surroundings. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Nice location for driving out to other sight seeing towns round about the Lake District. We went to Appleby, and Kirkby Stevens within ten minutes or so. More

Stayed here during early April, when it was 2 degrees outside. Hotel and room lovely and warm. Our room was well decorated, good shower, great view and very clean. Breakfast good and always more if you just ask. I even had hot chocolate as I don't drink tea or coffee. Staff all friendly and helpful, duty manager asked if everything... More
