“Reasonably priced stopover”

Stayed here for 2 nights in Feb 2012, lovely log fire and welcoming place. Wifi didn't work with either Ipad or Iphone in any of the rooms. Bedroom cosy, nice breakfast. A lovely 17th century Inn. Lovely accommodation. Nice log fire. Lovely beers. Fabulous food. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of friendly locals with open smiles. Couldn't ask for more. More

Stopped here for Sunday lunch on the way back from Edinburgh, after having stopped a couple of times over the years. Greeted by a roaring log fire on a cold wet day was a good start!
