My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in Septermber. The owners were very helpful, and it is set in a lovley location with excellent views. The breakfast was of great quality, using locally sourced produce. We have recommended this B&B to family and friends, and we hope to visit again.

What a lovely guest house/hotel. Spotlessly clean, well run, great breakfast. Cannot believe the one or two 'terrible' reviews - were they at the same place? Host welcoming, friendly and hardworking, Only negative would be that the bed was too soft for me, but that's personal preference. Will be very happy to stay there again some time.

Idyllic location with views of Skiddaw and Blencathra. Lovely room with beautifully laundered bed linen and bath towels - spotlessly clean. The best full English ever . Lovely people!! Highly recommended!!!
