Stayed here for one night while on a walking holiday with friends. Glencoe is just a short walk from Keswick centre. We were made to feel very welcome, the rooms were very comfortable, and a good breakfast served in the morning. Many thanks to Teresa for all the helpful information about evening meals, walks and buses.

Great location for the town centre and walks. Good, clean accommodation. Good breakfast and very friendly owners who are knowledgable on the area. A really good idea they have, is people leaving their planned route for the day.

Myself and my two best friends stayed for one night at The Glencoe Guest House for my birthday recently, and we could not have had a better experience. The owners made us feel so welcome, the room was a great size with very comfortable beds, it was only a 3 min walk into the centre of Keswick and then we... More

Very warm welcome, nice room, excellent breakfast. Hosts were friendly and helpful, including the dog Maisey. Easy short walk to town centre. Will consider again when next in Keswick.

Just got home from a weekend in Keswick where we stayed at the Glencoe. Lovely B&B. The owners were lovely, room basic but clean, biscuits and tea in the room (very nice teabags as well!) Very close to town centre and we managed to get parked outside. I can tho congratulate on the brekkie, probably one of the best I've... More

My first trip to Keswick was made even better due to the invaluble advice of the owners of the Glencoe guest house, about local weather, footpaths and mountains, and places to eat etc, etc. Very good rooms at good prices, good sized and tasty breakfasts too ! Karl and Teresa are very genuine and freindly people who love the outdoors.... More

The owners, Teresa and Carl are lovely, very friendly and helpful. The B&B is the perfect base from which to explore Keswick and beyond, being only at most a 5 minute walk away from the town centre. If you're commuting to Keswick via train, there's a bus stop directly outside Penrith train station and the bus stops at a bus... More

Stayed at the Glencoe for 2 nights in May 2008. Not being able to find any reviews on this guest house was a bit worrying but any such fears on settling in were soon dispelled. The 2 rooms we booked were spacious and very comfortable and we slept well on both nights. Didn't need the heating as fortunately Keswick happened... More
