We have stayed at Appletrees a number of times and always find it clean, tidy and well maintained. The most unwelcoming guest house i have ever stayed in! The only good point was the location and view from the window..We were billed after we left for 'damage' to the room..( A small amount of curry sauce spilt on a seat cover ) The bill.....£60!!!!!! Stayed for one night at the Appletrees whilst visiting Keswick. Rooms were spotless and the breakfast was very nice. Nice place overall and would recommend. Only (small) issue we had was that the shower was not very powerful. More
