The Rooms at Apple Pie and The Cafe cannot be faulted in any way. Great location, spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. 10% at Cafe next door (which is also dog-friendly) We will definately stay here again. This little gem cannot be faulted in any way. Great location, very clean and great value. It is room only but it has its own cafe next door which is also superb and you receive a small discount on food for staying in their rooms. This will always be my first choice for somewhere to stay in Ambleside. More

Easy to find, rooms plesant and clean. Decided to parking in public carpark because from the hotel carpark you have to reverse onto a main road. Did't see any staff but booking process simple and hassle free. More

My family and I stayed at the Apple Pie over Easter and cannot recommend it highly enough. Centrally located but not noisy, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and well presented with comfortable beds and a lovely hot shower. Will definitely return. PS - The bakery/cafe next door was even better! More
