We stayed at the St. Alban's for two nights as our home base for the British Open and to be close to the ferry terminal for our subsequent trip to France. The train service in England is outstanding. We took the train from London to Dover Priory. St. Alban's is right across the street from the station; but there is... More

we stayed prior to sailing to Boulogne, parking was a problem, the steps were steep, we couldnt find our room easily. We had cases to carry this was difficult with my partner being disabled... the room was tiny, the bathroom even smaller, the kettle had mould growing in it, it was dirty and dated...it says B&B but you have to... The train station is very close and train noise is NOT an issue. If your room fronts the street you will have enough noise. B&B is easy walking distance to town, less than a mile. We arrive by cruise ship and a tax is necessary. And a bit costly for the 2 mile ride. They 'got ya!' Pros: Location, free... More

We stayed in Dover two nights and this was the first night. The B&B is located just accross the street from the Rail Way Station and it is a 5 minute walk to downtown. The waterfront is about 10-15 minutes away. You can reach the castle in about 25 minutes by foot. Check in was easy and no problem. The... More

A basic hotel with no frills. Although it is a bed and breakfast, breakfast comes as an optional feature at a hefty price. Service is friendly, the hotel is only steps away from the Dover Priory Central station. The castle, the downtown area and white cliffs are at a walking distance. I was given a 'more quiet' room, futher away... More

My wife and I stayed here the night before our ferry crossing to France. We enjoyed our stay at this low cost B&B so much that we booked again for our return to Dover. Our double room with on-suite was clean and very cosy, although rather small, it was adequate for our needs. Lloyd and Theodora were pleasent and helpful.... More

Well situated opposite the station and walking distance to the town centre, this B&B is very comfortable and having double glazing windows noise was minimal. Although I had booked several months ahead and requested a lower room ,I seem to end up on the top floor and therefore have to leave the heavy cases downstairs, which is ok.The rooms are very... More

If you are staying overnight this establishment is tolerable. The room was the smallest we have ever been in. My wife had to sit on the bed so that I could go to the toilet. But it was clean. The check-in time is strictly 5pm. If you arrive earlier and ring the bell no one will answer so you are... More
