Stayed here in February 2011. Great breakfast, nicely decorated room (if slightly on the smaller side), unbeatable location (v. close to town, but on a quiet street so not disturbed). Would recommend. The hosts couldn't do enough for us, and there is a nice touch of the Ronnie Corbetts about Adrian. More

This B&B is a really lovely place to stay in Canterbury. We stayed there over Easter and I fully recommend the White House. Beautifully decorated, attention to detail, comfortable beds, extremely clean and centrally located. The breakfast was great too! Two things I would add: on a previous post I read a criticism of Adrian (one of the couple that own... More

Adrian and Sharon were great hosts and went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room was lovely and the location excellent. It was easy walking distance to everything, but off the beaten path. Nestled between two parks and close to two great pubs with large outdoor seating areas where locals hang... More

Stayed at the White House for my wife’s birthday as we wanted to visit Canterbury again as we were at University there. We would stay there again and it is a very clean and welcoming place. As soon as we arrived Adrian was there to greet us and show us to our room. There they had left us a bottle... More

Six of us stayed at the White House, the night before my daughters graduation. Our celebrations were made extra special by the warm and courteous welcome we received from Adrain, which was greatly appeciated after a long journey. The White House has been beautifully designed and decorated and has resulted in a homely and inviting accomodation. The choice of Breakfast... More

The White House was absolutely perfect for our stay in Canterbury. Tucked away down a no through road, but only minutes away on foot to the bustling High Street, we were able to leave our car in a car park nearby and do all our exploring on foot. Parking cost only £10 for our two-day stay. The B&B was lovely.... More

Quiet street in centre of town. Our host Adrian went out of his way to help us and was very friendly, offering tips about where to go. Cheap local parking scheme (£5 per 24 hours at May 2011 prices). Clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was spoiled by cheap, sugary, cash-and-carry yogurts but lifted by imaginative cooked offerings and excellent coffee. More

We stayed at The White House as part of our 10th anniversary as Canterbury was our old University town. The hotel is close to Canterbury West Station and is located just off the main high street. We were allowed to check in early and our first impressions were very good. The room was quite small but like the rest of... More

Excellent location for visiting old Canterbury. When the new theatre is finished, it's right nextdoor. Nice and quiet, even though it's in the centre of things. More
