Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at Bluebells. As others have noted, Michelle is a very friendly and engaging host. She picked up on our preferences from the first day and adjusted accordingly for the second. We had both rooms on the first floor. The kids actually got the larger (Bluebells) room since it had two beds. We had... More

I stayed at Bluebells for four nights with my girlfriend and we felt pampered the entire time. We experienced the Orchid and Rose rooms - both are beautiful and luxurious! Michelle is a fantastic host, friendly and informative. Breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room, a generous menu provides breakfast options for everyone including a full Kentish breakfast, cereals,... More

We're just back from 3 days in Canterbury and stayed for 2 nights at the Bluebells Guest House. Michelle is a perfect host and prepares the best cooked breakfast we've had in ages! Fresh fruits, yogurts, cereals, muffins, croissants, and the usual eggs/bacon/sausages /tomatoes/mushrooms. She also had left us some chocolates on Saturday, a really nice touch on the Easter... We we're very well looked after and had everything we could possibly need. No need to bring toiletries or hairdryers ladies, every room has its own for you to use. All the... More

Met by Michelle (the owner) tho we were only spending the one night, we felt at ease and welcome the moment we walked in the front door. Michelle gave us a map of Canterbury and explained everything clearly. We had the Orchid Suite. the only room on the top floor, which was comfortable and spacious as was the large bathroom, my... My husband and I have stayed here twice and loved it both times. The owner is absolutely lovely and makes you feel very welcomed. The bedroom and bathroom were both really comfortable, modern and fresh. The breakfast was very generous and all you could wish for. And we comfortably walked into town. All in all highly recommended.

We spent a couple of nights in the Bluebell room last October. The room was lovely and spacious, the bed comfortable and robes provided for the short trip to the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and enough to keep you going all day. Michelle was a friendly and helpful host. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at... More

Myself and my partner just stayed here, in the bluebell room, and it was beautiful. The room was spacious, michelle, the owner, hugely welcoming and our own private bathroom resplendant with everything we needed. Breakfast was well catered, with many different options and nothing was too much trouble. The walk to town took 10-15 minutes, but was no big issue... More
