I stay here fairly frequently with work. It's a basic hotel, but it's clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and the food is very good.

A very comfortable hotel, within close walking of the centre of Canterbury. Warm welcome by all staff, with clean, smart bedrooms. Provides a full restaurant and a separate lounge and bar. Breakfast was full English and well cooked, along with a good dinner selection. Stayed 2 nights with a room overlooking the back garden, which was quiet and offered good... More

This was a last minute booking and all I could find for under £70 within a mile of the city centre. The hotel looks grand from the outside and is well signposted with a large off-road car park. I booked a single en-suite for one night which cost £60.00 (including breakfast). The room was nicely decorated with basic facilities. As... More

Very Findlay and welcoming and quiet hotel, 10 mins walk to central Canterbury. We had a double room which was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. We only stayed one night but it was a vey nice stay.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful and even though it overlooked the road there was very little noise. We had a superb meal in the restaurant and a plentiful lovely breakfast. I need a gluten free diet and took my own bread. This was not required as the hotel... More

One of only a few hotels over Easter happy to accept a booking for just one night. Set in grounds just of one of the main roads into Canterbury, with town centre a leisurely 10 minute walk away. Unlike a lot of hotels in Canterbury centre, car parking was available, particularly important in Canterbury which is largely pedestrianised and doesn't... More

Mid-week stay away with Mum, had twin room, number 1, and it was great. Lovely welcome and showed to room. Nice size room, comfy beds and big bathroom. Swimming pool is really nice addition with jacuzzi, great after day walking around. The breakfasts were great, good choice and well cooked. Overall service was excellent, and beleive the 3 star rating... More

We arrived at The Ebury on the 20th the car park is spacious and a welcome site being so close to the city centre. We were greeted warmly by the member of staff on duty, the routine of the hotel was explained we were offered a morning paper, early morning call and even a map of the city. Then shown... More

There are lots of nice things about the Ebury. Location, lovely grounds, close to the city yet peaceful, with a pool. Decor is old style, even charming.Food excellent and yet .. We hada room at the back, in an old house converted. The clue is in the word "old" especially applied to the plumbing. If this doesn't worry you great.... More

I stayed at the Ebury Hotel for two nights whilst attending Christchurch University. I had a single room which was small but very comfortable, the shower room was beautiful and the shower itself was great with loads of hot water. A fellow student and I had dinner on the first night and the food was fantastic as was the service.... More
