This is an older hotel from an era that is vanishing; expect some retro things - anaglypta wallpaper, swirly carpets and creaky stairs (including outside your room).
If you prefer stainless steel and glass, with sound-proof doors and a modern ambience then stay elsewhere. However, based on one night's experience we can recommend the Ebury, but we would have wished...
