Just a one-night stay but couldn't have asked for more. Room was well-equipped and spotless, I opted for the Continental breakfast which was delicious while other guests seemed to be enjoying the 'full English'. Owners were very welcoming and attentive. Parking is free but a little tricky, so make sure you speak to the owners beforehand to confirm exact details.

Don't normally stay in B&Bs, but this seemed a good example of the breed – very clean, quiet, neutrally decorated and comfortable, and about five minutes’ walk from the Westgate (which itself marks the beginning of the High Street). Good breakfast, too, of the straightforward English variety. Attentive/chatty service.
