We stayed here only for one night, we wish we had book another!! The hotel was so different, we stayed in the canterbury suite, which was just lovely, no 2 walls are the same, it was just lovely, so much better then your bog standard hotel room. The 2 staff we saw were very friendly and always happy to help.... More

Two stable rooms, two nights for two couples. Couldn't fault anything at all! Rooms were bright, exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, with fabulous touches, like underfloor heating and an enormous powerful shower in the bathroom. Admittedly there is a train line directly behind the stables, but considering my husband is generally a fairly light sleeper, the noise was minimal and we... More

We spent one night in the Paris room and would thoroughly recommend it to all those wanting a lovely weekend away. The hotel is right by the train station and only a few minutes to town. It is also close to the Good Shed which we would also advise people to pay a visit to. The breakfast is divine and... More

My aim at the House of Agnes is to provide a comfortable, relaxing stay with good service, good food, a comfortaable bed and a hot, strong shower! If I have achieved that then I feel my job is well done. If my guests are happy then I go to bed feeling good. It is so nice when we get positive... More

Spent one night at the House of Agnes on our way to meet a cruise ship in Dover. So glad we did. Canterbury is definitely worth a stop and we had a great stay at House of Agnes. Please recognize that it is a historic and old property that is comfortable and fun if all goes right. If not, I... More

We stayed for only a couple of nights, but the experiences was "Oh, Yeah!". If you want somewhere with an ambiance that fits in with Canterbury, House of Agnes is spot on. Sandy and staff looked after us very well, and we loved the Honesty Bar. One tip, the car park entrance is really narrow ... we were told to... More

We booked into this b&b at the last minute. We ended up having a choice in terms of room and picked Boston - lovely room, plenty of space, separate bathroom and toilet, view of the garden (as opposed to the street at the front of the house). Great powerful shower. Noise insulation wasn't the best though, we were kept awake... More
