The couple who run this Bed and Breakfast with their family went out of their way to help me during my stay. I arrived with a misunderstanding about my booking, which they resolved for me, in spite of it being my fault. Halfway through my stay I injured my ankle and again, they helped out with frozen peas and offering... More

Rooms were nice and the bed was comfortable. Check in time is a bit late compared to some other hotels so be careful of this if you're only staying for one night. It was also a bit noisy on the street with it being a saturday night. I felt some of the staff could have been a bit friendlier but... More

We were impressed from the moment we arrived. The Coach House was easy to locate & had space to park on-site. The lady who met us was very friendly & helpful & gave us a map of the city, signposting some recommended eateries. The location is ideal - within the city walls so a stone's throw from the main attractions... More

Arrived at 5p on a weekday and there was no parking left in front of the hotel ( only 3 -4 cars could be parked). There is a parking lot on a street in the back of the hotel, but it was difficult to find as the staff gave confusing directions. Got the family room on the top floor, which... More

This B&B is in a great spot: close to Canterbury East rail station, just a few minutes walk from the Cathedral, restaurants, shops and other attractions. Our hosts were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and provided wonderful breakfasts--adapting the options for each guest. The room was warm and comfortable. #1 has a settee and desk, helpful for longer stays and... More

It feels like home: the young family who run the place--charming husband/wife team and two young girls--are friendly, outgoing, helpful, and very informative. The rooms are very comfortable--I'd have liked an easy chair in my room, but other rooms DID--and I believe each room has its own bathroom. The breakfasts are great, the location is superb, and access is easy... More

2 friends and I spent Christmas week in Canterbury and had a memorable experience in the town and at The Coach House. Picturebook Canterbury, its Cathedral, many shops and restaurants, really does the holiday season well. The Coach House is a charming Georgian double home very conveniently located within the walled city and just a 5-minute stroll to the town... More

After a warm welcome, we explored the town. The location is absolutly ideal and the parking space in front of the B&B is free. Our rooms number 7 and number 5, where both different but cosy and warm. The breakfast was very nice and cooked as you like. We would stay there again !
