We went with a large party from our village and were not expecting very much for the price but apart from one niggle about the lack of a shower on the top floor and the very poor water pressure(room 15) everything else was excellant.

We have just had a very nice stay in Shanklin, good weather, coach trip down and back. Good value for money, room very clean , meals adequate, nicely presented, evening entertainment very good.

we recently stayed at this hotel we were very disappointed at the food, the breakfast was very small and we were given 1 portion of marmalade each and the soup was only warm at the evening meal. Our room was very spacious but quite cold but friends of ours had very small rooms. The rooms were very clean and also... More

PLEASEremember this hotel was built over 300years ago. We have just had a realy great break at this hotel. We found the staff realy plesent helpful the food was good and a good amount on the plates. The dining room was very large(being the old casino in the last part of the 20 centuary). Coffee shop open for lunch bites... More

I hadn't been on a coach trip in years but this was most comfortable. I had a lovely time and found the staff really helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us and it had a really homely feel. It was clean and smelled fine. I had room 45 and agree the toilet was a snug fit. If... More

We stayed at the Daish's hotel in Shanklin and had a fantastic time. The staff were friendly, helpful and could not do enough for us. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Could not fault the meals or the dining staff nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment was very very good. The only complaint that I have was that... More

Great locationand friendly staff, buses stop by hotel for easy access to the whole island, and thus avoid the steep hill into town. This could be a good hotel if only they were not selling cheap and packing them in tight. No room to move in either the bar or dining room, and the food was terrible, cheap ingredients, badly... On the 29th October boarded Daishs coach and was greeted with a foul smell from the toilet on the coach. The driver had failed to empty the toilet tank from previous days trip (s). This we had to endure for the whole of the journey. The seating on the coach was very crammed and narrow, your knees where up the back... More
