My husband and I stayed hre for a long-awaited weekend away from the children and we were not disappointed. It really is a beautiful hotel, the room was spacious and nicely decorated, food was outstanding - the best I have eaten for some time, and the staff could not have been more helpful. Would go back time and again!

We stayed here recently with another two couples (all escaping our darling children) and we were made to feel extremely welcome. The service was outstanding, the food was terrific, the rooms were spotlessly clean (even by my wife's extremely high standards) and the batteries were suitably recharged!

St Michael's has always been somewhere to go for a special meal with the full service offer - drinks in the lounge, head waiter taking your order - all that sort of thing.
