The house is a very attractive venue in an elevated rural location with views down the valley to Hereford. It stands in its own grounds and in good weather is a beautiful setting. Our room a suite at the front of the old house was spacious and well laid out, with views of the garden and to Hereford in the... More

When we arrived the reception area was not manned and we had to ring a bell for service, which wasn't particularly speedy. Breakfast was a very DIY experience and on the Saturday morning (when breakfast is between 8-9) there was still nothing to eat at 8.20. Our room, although a reasonable size, was very tired looking. The shower was only... More

Arrived and rang the bell at reception. Waited a few minutes, then someone came out, and asked us to wait. Another couple of minutes pass, till we hear a disembodied voice asking us to follow her... Room looks OK and well appointed, bathroom smells faintly of wee. The TV can only be watched by lying in bed, and then one... More

We found the place easily from the train station, and walked it in less than half an hour. The lady who met us at reception was very friendly, and made sure we were comfortable. The room itself was beautiful (we got the Kidwell suite) and absolutely perfect for a romantic night away from the busy city. It was very clean... More

That is the Norfolk Suite, my boyfriend and I stayed in this room that was, we were told by the staff, the bedroom of the Duke of Norfolk when he owned Munstone House. Wow!!! What a really wonderful night we had, it was so romantic with a four poster bed and jacuzzi bath, sipping our champagne. We didn't bother to... More
