Popped in here for a light lunch with a few friends today, and had a great lunch. Staff were really friendly, lunch served quickly and was tasty.

We stayed here mid-week in the Design Studio and Zoffany on the dinner, bed & breakfast deal. Both rooms were lovely - spacious, beautifully decorated, every expectation by way of comfy beds/quality linen/dressing-gowns etc. met or exceeded - I've never seen an espresso machine in a hotel bedroom before! We had an extremely good night's sleep - didn't hear a... More

We came across this by chance whist looking for somewhere to stop for lunch. It is a wonderful place, the staff were polite, the atmosphere was great, the food was excellent. Will definitely go back there again.

Well what can I say it was lovely. A great Resturaunt and room. Yes the parking can be an issue as even with the free permit we couldnt find a space, this may only have been an issue due to local filming going on whilst we stayed we parked in the local car parks after unloading our bags, not too... Visited this pub/hotel for an evening meal. Staff very friendly, food fabulous - great choice.Lovely location although parking is about a five minute walk away as this is a very old city with limited roadside parking. Will definitely return and will also try the lunchtime menus.

We treated ourselves to a night in the Design House Suite at the end of our walk along the South Downs Way. It was great! Room was spotless, spacious, (2 TVs!) and comfortable. Really powerful shower over the bath. Towelling robes and slippers - just what we needed. Great big comfortable bed. Excellent personal service at reception and check in.... More

A delightful place, though it is best to be an early riser if one stays in the Nina Campbell room - which is lovely - because one will hear early morning preparations from the bar below

Thanks for your review, I'm delighted to see that you enjoyed your visit. I'm sorry that you experienced some noise disturbance, I've passed on your comments about early-morning noise to the housekeeping team, and they have changed the schedule for cleaning the patio in the morning until later in the day, so this should stop any further disturbances at this... We only stayed one night in Winchester and knew we want to be in a central location so we could walk and explore this lovely little town. After reading trip advisor reviews selected this charming B & B. It was perfect! We arrived early on Sunday, March 25th from London on the train and were able to drop our luggage... More

We had a 2 night stay in the Osborne & Little room & couldn't have been happier with the experience. The room was spacious, luxurious, immaculately clean and had lovely views of the museum and the cathedral. We ate in the restaurant for one of the nights & the food was fabulous, if a little filling. Breakfast in the room... More

Originally attracted by the rave restaurant reviews. `The Old Vine did not disappoint. Food was of high quality, lovingly prepared ad served with enthusiasm. Fabulous location - worth sacrificing the car park facility. Had no problems finding on-street parking nearby. Our room - the cheapest, was located to the rear of the hotel and overlooking well maintained roof area with... More

Dear Guest, thanks for the very comprehensive review, I'm delighted to hear that the staff "held the fort" in such grand style while we were away. They are indeed a very motivated team, and we're very lucky to have them! More
