My wife and I have just stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed our visit. The couple who run it are lovely and welcoming. The breakfast is out of this world! Seriously, you should stay here. Hotel was reasonably priced. hotel a bit old fashioned but that part of its charm. friendly manager. adequately clean. in great location for city, though on down side means traffic noise. fantastic breakfast. really was good. would stay again.

Finally a decent sized bed and lovely bedroom. The owner was very welcoming and offered loads of advice for lunch and dinner. The town was just a short walk away. Excellent breakfast and just generally a great B&B.

Friendly service and fabulous breakfast. Good value. Staff very friendly and made to feel at home. Great location for town being a short walk to the Cathedral, Great Hall, theatre and high street. Would go again and recommend without hesitation.

Location at the top of the high street, made really welcome on arrival as if we were frienda rather than guests the bed was comfy and the old furniture sits well with the character of the location.
