Spotless clean, well maintained, and very comfortable, this is a very nice place to stay in Winchester. Beautiful grand town house, beautifully maintained. 5 star but with a friendly, homely feel. Large, comfortable rooms and clean, well appointed bathroom with good shower. We have stayed here several times now and each time we have a wonderful stay. Whilst it is a bed and breakfast, there is a hotel feel to it. Giffard House is a beautifully restored grand Victorian Guesthouse with an entrance to match. We had a lovely big quiet clean room, room 3, at the front with 2 bathrooms, a large TV and a lovely touch of having 2 bottles of water. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We received a warm welcome even though we arrived early at 7.30 am and were fortunate in that our room was available. found by accident one night after the other hotel was full ! and was grateful that it was this one was far better (and cheaper) the room was spotlessly clean, the bed nice and comfortable. And the breakfast more than adequate would recommend to all, a very friendly family run hotel.
