Superb service having arrived late evening (including a free cup of coffee), had business guest for breakfast (really welcoming staff), left a family car in the car park for the morning (no problems) - I will always stay here when I visit Portsmouth in the future - excellent value for money!

Clean modern hotel ideally situated for the city centre. Was greeted at reception by very friendly staff and extremely helpfull. Room spotless and comfortable. My only grouse is there are no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms.

Good value - easy to get the bus into town. Did not try breakfast - looked a bit light on. Room small but functional. Free car parking excellent. Shower and toilet good. I would recommend for budget travellers.

Really enjoyed our stay very comfortable and clean,would recomend it to my friends,the only small complaint was the mirror was to far away from the sockets,,my hair dryer wouldn't go that far,hope to be back some day.

I stayed in the Ibis budget for two nights and found it to be a good cheap hotel, you only get what you pay for but thats all I needed. We drove down from Gatwick and were very surprised at the standard for the money we paid. The room was very clean with a separate loo in the room, large shower and hand basin in the room. staff helpful, clean rooms and surrounding area , £8,40 for taxi for 6 to wharf waked back , beds too hard we have used many Etps through out France and found them to be comfotable we like the firm beds this was like sleeping on a table,so would be reluctant to return ..shameas otherwise great.
