The building itself was very pretty, lovely gardens, the room was very nice and well done out with all facilities and very clean. The location was very near to the town within walking distance. The breakfast room was nice and bright, we were provided with tea, coffee, orange juice and cereals. We opted for a full English, which was disappointing... More

I usually look for the best in everyone but unfortunately I cannot find anything nice to say about this landlady. I had phoned two days prior to my arrival to ask if it would be ok to arrive early to park the car, as we were travelling a long distance to visit an elderly relative in Cheltenham hospital. When we... More

A typical guest house which, as with so many, had little definable character and an "anywhere" feel. The building stands in a pleasant area on a corner plot in a well-maintained garden and had lost its original windows in favour of ubiquitous plastic frames which inevitably detract from its appearance. Nevertheless, the welcome was cheerful enough and I was provided... More

Before booking this guest house I read lots of reviews on this site. Some of the reviews were very nasty and let the guest house down, me and my partner thought we would give it a chance and decided to stay there. When we arrived first impressions was the guest house was very attractive on the eye and very homely.... More

I could not believe the previous reviews, I felt that either they went to a different place or they trying to find fault .Landlady cheerful and helpful. We arrived early but was shown to our room. This was clean and bright with lots of storage space. Food good and what we ordered (and hot).Dogs there but kept in background until... More

Stayed one night with my son and his girlfriend. From the moment we arrived ( a few minutes before 5 ) we were made to feel a bit of a nuisance. My son's girlfriend was unwell so I had to go to a chemist . The lady owner did help me with that grudingly. That evening we found the cold... More

Contrary to other reviews, we completely enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, breakfast and service were amazing, both from host and hostess (no Basil Fawlty element there). We even enjoyed the art scattered around the house so we will definitely be coming back next year.

No, No, No, & No again! This must be the worst B&B in the country. You really couldn't make it up as bad as this, even if you were a script writer for Faulty Towers. "That Woman", the hostess, a most unfriendly, unwelcoming person you never met. I allowed myself to be fooled by the reviews which are posted on... More

Having stayed in many, many guest houses we can quite easily say this was one of the worse we have ever been to! Gentleman was polite enough but had to wait 5 minutes in the hallway for service as he was out gardening! showed us to our £60 cupboard interestingly called the 'African' room. Possibly the coldest 'room' in the... More
