I stayed for 2 nights in this hotel with some friends and I would highly recommend it. We had a room on the first floor which was very light and airy, and a room in the lower ground which was a bit dark - I would recommend the more expensive first floor room. Both rooms were stylishly decorated and very... More

Jayne & Adam have created an elegant and contemporary guest house, whilst retaining the Regency grandeur of the building. No B&B Chintz here. Rooms are stylishly decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, not a trace of grease and the poached eggs were perfect every time. Proper table linens too. The guest lounge is inviting and comfortable with a well... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in April. It was a lovely peaceful spot within 5 minutes walk of the town centre. The hotel was beautifully kept and our room was spacious and airy with everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and we would not hesitate to recommend this as a place to stay. Parking was easy... More

We stayed here for two nights and were absolutely delighted with our choice. It is in a very beautiful quiet area but easily close enough to walk into town. Plenty of parking spaces also just outside and in the car park. As a light sleeper I asked for a quiet bedroom if possible and was very pleased with the one... More

We booked direct with the hotel and chose one of the less expensive rooms on the lower ground floor. The proprietors, Adam and Jayne Lillywhite, and the other staff were very helpful throughout our short stay. We had two cars with us, one on tow, but parking was sorted without a fuss. Beware, the car park's at the rear. We... More

The Cheltenham Townhouse Hotel is perfectly situated. The area is quiet at night and parking is easy. The room we had was terrific and very spacious (4). The cooked breakfast menu is very good and the food is cooked to order and is speedily produced. The staff are very quick and courteous whilst also attentive to your needs at the... More

This is a great hotel in an excellent convenient location only a short walk from the town centre. Very friendly and accommodating staff too - we were booked into a room for three people but when booked by my friend he hadn't made it clear that we required three single beds. The room was set-up as a double bed and... More

While our room was fairly basic and a little tired, it had everything we needed including a huge and very comfortable bed. The location is great, there is off street parking and breakfast was delicious. The communal living area has an open fire, honesty bar and there is fresh fruit available all the time. All the staff are attentive and... More

A bit of Regency splendour and a great place to stay if you want to wander into town or go to the races. The rooms were spotless, lots of cushions and the staff very personable - don't know who owns the place but it did not feel like a faceless chain. Breakfast was excellent and I liked the trust placed... More

I booked to stay for a two night leisure break, principally because the Holst Birthplace Museum is in the next road. The location is good for many things (including the racecourse and town centre), and it is at the end of a short cul-de-sac, so no traffic/town centre noise at night, but also not a creepy place to return to...
