First time we have stayed in Rye and couldn't have picked a better Guest House to have stayed in!! Superb accommodation for our family of 4. Our 3 night stay over the Easter holiday period was excellent in every way. The rooms and beds were both very comfortable and the owner and his staff were all very polite and helpful...

Very comfortable B&B with a tearoom attached, right by the waterfront in Rye. Historic building so expect some quirks in the layout, but the room was well-equipped and comfortable. Great bed. Extensive choice for breakfast as well as a good selection of juice, fruit and cereals. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again if I was in the area.

We have stayed a number of time, always a friendly welcome and reasonably priced. Excelent breakfast. The adjoining Mermaid Corner Tea Rooms offer a varied range of snacks, drinks and sandwiches along with their home made soup of the day and you enoy a 10% discount when residing in the hotel.

This is the third visit to Rye that my wife and I have made and the first staying at this particular hotel. For some reason a lot of the hotels in Rye were full this weekend, so there wasn't a great deal of choice available. So I picked what I thought was the best of the bunch. And I was...
