My wife and I had never been to Rye before, but were going to Camber Sands to let our puppy run on the beach. We were lucky enough to get a late booking for a Bank Holiday Sunday at the White Vine House. Due to the late booking, the only room available was the Superior Double with ensuite bath. It... More

Met at the door by Javed, our host, who showed to our room and made us feel so welcome. Our room was stunning and extremely comfortable. There were numerous little touches like fresh milk and freshly ground coffee that made our stay so enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious. But the sheer history of our surroundings took our breath away. An absolute... More

We stayed at this hotel not really knowing what to expect but the staff and the rooms were amazing. We stayed in Room 3 which had a 4 poster bed, Chesterfield and massive luxury bathroom. Javed and Kelly were very welcoming and could not do enough to help us on our short stay, nothing was too much trouble. I would... More

What a jewel. Right on the high street this 'boutique' hotel delvers on all fronts. From the extremely helpful and welcoming front of house, Javed and Kelly make you feel very much at home. We stayed in the newly finished family room 6 on the top floor and the sumptuous double room 4 . The attention to detail is amazing... More

Lovely room with wonderful bathroom. Great central location, but parking is a problem particularly on Wednesday/Thursday when the long stay car park is closed overnight for the market the following day. If there was one complaint, it's that it is a bit on the expensive side. More

We stayed at the White Vine for two nights and I had made the reservation based on all the excellent reviews. It lived up to its reputation, the owners Javed and Barbara run the place like a well-oiled machine and are clearly very in-tune with what it is that makes people think "This is a nice B&B" and not just... Was back in UK last week and managed to revisit Rye and stay at the White Vine after a year... same excellent experience! They continue to improve what were excellent accomodations already - and biggest surprise was they have added a new restaurant. Food and service was amazing - everything just top class! More

This friendly B&B could not be more conveniently located in the centre of Rye. The room we had was spacious, very comfortable and stylishly furnished with a lovely roll top bath and beautiful four-poster bed. The service was excellent - the staff, lead by Javed, were all extremely pleasant and accommodating and it was really a very relaxing, homely place to... More
