We planned to have a weekend away in Brighton and Ablecliff B&B was recommended by a friend, when we arrived The owners could not have made us more welcome. We stayed in the basement suite, The suite was well appointed and decorated to a very high standard. I absolutley loved the basement suite, and had a good nights sleep, in... More

What a lovely B&B, ticks all the boxes. I am sure I will be visiting again and again!! The room was pleasant, airy, clean and had a very comfy bed. The shower was powerful and refreshing. Wonderful breakfasts, cooked to order with plenty of choice and a self service buffet. Lovely staff, thank you. More

We needed somewhere close to a wedding reception in the town centre and found this B&B. We were greeted by a very friendly welcome and a newly decorated bedroom. The shower room was tired but clean- it is clear that a great deal of thought and effort has been put in updating this place, one room at a time. We... More

This was the second time my partner and myself have stayed at the Amblecliff. We had no hesitation to recommend it to our friends and as we were planning a trip to Brighton in August, we all stayed in this lovely B&B. If you are looking for luxury and the price tag to match then this is not the place... More

We enjoyed our stay at The Amblecliffe, a small, affordable, typically English hotel in Brighton. Somehow this is exactly the kind of hotel you want to stay at when visiting Brighton. The Amblecliffe is not brand new or a luxury hotel. I'd describe it as comfortable, relaxed, and a place with character. Like a B&B. We had a larger room... More
