My wife and me were visitng Brighton at 2010 summer, we drove a car & passed by Rottingdean and stay with The Windhaven Bed & Breakfast for one night. Frankly this is not much to talk about the B&B. It provides very basic accomodation, basic amenties, very soft bed, just accceptable cleaning condition, very (very) basic continental breakfast on a... More

The Windhaven B&B in a convenient location on the coast road just east of Brighton. It has a big car park plus is close to a bus stop with excellent service into Brighton and its train station. The rooms are on one floor which is a plus. The rooms are in need of updating and the breakfast is only cereal,... More

I don't stay in B&B's very often and looking at the previous reports, I don't disagree with any of them so I guess it comes down to your expectations. It was comfortable enough and clean. The land lady was friendly though the person that answers phone really needs to go on a customer service training course. The breakfast was nice... More

Stayed here on the weekend of 23rd June and really can't fault it; £90 for a room that sleeps four people (incredibly good value in the Brighton area); friendly landlady; good breakfast (tea, juice, cereal, toast, yoghurt) delivered to the room (up until 9.30am...good if, like us, you had a bit of a hangover...!) - just lovely! Maybe not a... More

Highly OK.... some reviews a bit harsh on here.... not top notch accommodation, but clean. Minimal luxury... nice landlady, didn't meet the landlord but he did leave us a phone message the day we were due to arrive to see what time we were planning to arrive. We just chuckled about that. Decor is tired but nice views from room... More

I booked this b&b before reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. I have to say I was a bit taken aback by payment being taken before we got there and when I checked if a refund would be due if I couldn't make it was told "no way" take it or leave it. I decided to take it and then... More

Good points: very near Brighton, off road car parking. Cant think of any others... Otherwise: total rip off: £80 a night double B&(b?). Shabby room, grotty beds, tiny TV stuck high up on the wall, no homely touches, one bath towel for two people, no lounge, not a lot really. Moderately clean but not good enough. The 'breakfast' is, apparently... More

We stayed at this b&b this weekend and had a lovely break. The room was spacious airy light and clean. Breakfast is brought to your room. Cereal, juice, toast, yogurts and tea or coffee. The bathroom tiles have seen better days but that's the only fault we could find. There is free parking which is nigh on impossible to find... More

I found this B & B on the South Coast Road, with free parking which is hard to find near Brighton, there are bus stops right outside taking you to Brighton in one direction and Eastbourne the other, plenty facilites nearby to suit any age group and if you dont fancy the hussle and bustle of busy Brighton, then nearby...
