Just stayed at this hotel for 2 nights xmas shopping break. Hotel was very good value for money, lovely large bed, very clean and excellently prepared breakfast. Ideal situation close to pier and The Lanes. Only criticism is lack of background music in breakfast room, to enable guests to chat comfortably. Would definitely stay there again

Booked six months in advance and got the worst room I've ever had to stay in. 1980's decor looking very tired and for £95 each night I would expect a lot better. Breakfast was very average. Good location but I've stayed in places for half the cost in better locations in Brighton. Never again.

Clean hotel room although some of the decor was questionable, mini bar reasonably priced, shower worked ok but could do with being updated. Great location and fantastic weather during 3 night stay. Breakfast was rather early so didnt manage to make it once!

I was sceptical staying here after reading mixed reviews on this site. No need though. Clean and friendly. As for the shower, it worked fine though the room would benefit from a power shower. I would stay here again.

I've stopped at the Westbourne several times over the last 12mnths and I've found the staff (family) to be good fun and willing to help if I'm running late. I stay in Brighton on business lot's and never have a problem getting a room at the last minute, even when I phone at 6pm.
