My boyfriend and I stayed at the Moreland at the beginning of June 2013. The first thing I noticed is actually how close to the seafront it is, which is really handy and makes it very easy to find. The room was spacious and very well fitted/decorated. We had room 2, on the ground floor which was spacious, clean and... More

On the occasion of a conference I chose to stay at The Moreland and it turned out to be the right decision: the owner, Darren, does everything to make your stay one to always remember. The hotel is located close to both the City center and the Brighton seaside and just next to the bus stop. The rooms are clean... More

Excellent facilities and service would recommend to anyone...especially enjoyed the wagon wheels in the room with your tea and coffee. haven't had a wagon wheel in years ...nice touch and sums up the hotel nicely.

Silly American that I am, I was expecting parking. But after I got over that, all was good (there is a large, modern, expensive, public parking facility a few blocks away). The rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was good---not cooked, but available over a wide range of time. I walked to all of the tourist spots. Wife was... More

What a lovely little place to stay, great host, wonderful breakfast and even better treat tray in the room. Definately recommend for a warm and welcome break away. Very central to all amenities and the seafront. Close to bars and coffee shops and a short walk into town.

Everything was outstanding: the location, value, quality of the accommodations, breakfast. Darren is very nice and did everything to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the Moreland to my friends and I would definitely go back next time I am in Brighton.

For anyone who needs a comfortable and welcoming place to stay I can thoroughly recommend the Moreland. Darren was so helpful and made Philip and I very welcome. The room was very comfortable and tastefully furnished with nice touches of snacks, good toiletries etc. The breakfast the next day made a welcome change for the usual B&B fodder and was... More

A really lovely place to stay, close to the beach and about halfway between the centres of Brighton and Hove, both within easy walking distance. Darren is an excellent host, and the rooms, breakfast and all the extras were brilliant! We stayed for a cricket match at Hove, and it was a beautiful stroll along the front to the cricket... More

We had a wonderful stay at The Moreland at the end of May and can't wait to return. The hotel is newly refurbished and the rooms are beautiful and the attention to detail is excellent. The decor in our room was good, the bed blissfully comfortable and everything possible was provided in the room, including dvd player with large dvd... More
